Through strong relationships, extensive knowledge of Central's products, prompt efficient customer service, and innovation, the Distribution Coordinator grows Central Semiconductor's profitable distribution sales by meeting agreed upon sales targets.
• Possesses a clear understanding of Central's products and Central's Distribution Program, and can effectively demonstrate, either verbally or in writing, to distributors and other customers.
• Ensures proper training of franchised distributors by teleconference or in person; trains franchised distributors on Central's products and literature.
• Coordinates price quotation activities for distribution customers and captures data in the AS/400.
• Routinely contacts existing franchised and non-franchised distributors to solicit new business, increase existing business, further relationships, and promote new products.
• Monitors and reports on the activity levels of franchised distributors (ex: inquiries, samples orders, etc.)
• Visits franchised distributors' facilities for the purpose of qualifying, training, and goodwill.
• Coordinates franchised distribution visits at Central's facilities for the purpose of qualifying, training, and goodwill.
• Initiates and receives telephone calls and answers customer inquiries verbally, and by email or fax.
• Prepares monthly summary reports for Distribution Manager outlining franchised distributor activity including matters of significance, business environment, ideas, trends, and obstacles to growth.
Required
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); Associates degree; and two to three years related distribution sales/customer service experience; and knowledge of the distribution sales channel in the semiconductor industry.
Preferred
Bachelor’s degree; and three to five years plus of related distribution sales/customer service experience; and experience with ISO9001:2008 are all preferred.
